Comprehensive Plan Workshops to be held
The City of St. Augustine is updating its Comprehensive Master Plan this year. They are holding a series of Workshops throughout the City for your input. The Comprehensive Plan is mandated by the State of Florida and is the basis on which our City Code lies.
Things such as Zoning and Historic Preservation, as well as other codes must adhere to it. This year Mobility and some other new sections will be added to the Comprehensive Plan.
These workshops will explain further what the Comprehensive Plan does and possible changes to it.
The City has reached out to the Neighborhood Council of St. Augustine to get the word out to the residents to have input into the Comp Plan. They will be reaching out to the Business Community as well for input, so it is very important that the resident is involved.
Below is the SCHEDULE of WHEN and WHERE these Workshops will be held.
They are being held in various locations to make it convenient to attend. You may attend as many as you like.
I urge everyone to attend at least one and educate yourself on the Comp Plan and make sure that continues to protect the needs of the resident, especially in the area of zoning and historic preservation.
